K. A. Statz has  worked in the podcast industry since 2015 during her time at university. After graduating she founded her company Fool & Scholar Productions alongside her partner and producer, Travis Vengroff. Her interest in storytelling, history, and lore stems from a place of cultural study and scientific research, and she incorporates this knowledge into her fiction writing. Now, she creates some of the best podcasts in the realm of indie fiction.

Statz is best known for her horror podcast The White Vault, her work on the horror D&D podcast Dark Dice, and her other audio stories for Fool & Scholar Productions.  She has guest written for other podcasts, and her works of fiction primarily fall into the genres of horror and science fiction.

She does most of her writing from her home in Bavaria, Germany, with her dog at her feet, and a cup of tea within reach.
